On December 15, 2022, the People's Committee of Lang Son province officially launched and put into operation the "Smart Tourism Portal and Smart Travel Application on mobile devices" - marking a new step of Lang Son province in the digital transformation journey. It is worth mentioning that the special "digital product" of Lang Son province has significantly contributed by the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) as a companion partner in the construction and development.

Lang Son Tourism Portal with a general website having domain name: http://langsontourism.com.vn and Smart Tourism application on mobile devices with App: Lang Son Tourism have been put into trial operation from March 4, 2019.

After a period of testing and perfecting the product, "Smart Tourism Portal and Smart Tourism application on mobile devices" were officially opened by the Provincial People's Committee, marking a new step for Lang Son in the digital transformation journey.

The smart tourism system in Lang Son province built by VNPT integrates current new technologies such as: virtual reality technology, augmented reality. ... This certainly brings completely new experiences to visitors. Visitors easily interact on smart devices to look up and experience travel itineraries. Locations and tourist information are integrated with digital maps that help visitors easily find the desired places; book hotel and restaurant services easily, thereby saving time and costs.
